Live Out Loud - July Stamp of the Month

The July Stamp of the Month is called Live Out Loud and includes images of positive phrases with hip, lively designs.  My daughter was doing a little posing for a fun event at our church and I thought these phrases captured the moment perfectly.  I jazzed it up further with flowers and butterflies using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge exclusively available from Close To My Heart consultants, like me.  The paper is from the Lucy collection. Oh and a little bling never hurts.

This stamp set is great for cards and gift bags too, as you can see below in the artwork generously shared by some of my talented friends.

April Stamp of the Month: You Are...

I think I'll be using this stamp set A LOT. I have found so many uses for it already.  The phrases are generic yet useful, and the lines can be used to add texture to backgrounds and shapes.  I used the same stamp set for these two layouts that are totally different.  Love it!  This stamp set retails for $17.95, but is also available for just 5 bucks with a $50 qualifying order.

 

The dark brown flourish shown above is a new item, Tapestry Velvet rub-ons (item Z1700) - also available in black.  They are simple to use and add another element to layouts, cards and paper crafts.

November Stamp of the Month: Cherish The Day

I made this is a 6x6 inch card using Elemental paper and the Mistle Toe stamp set.  The oval was cut using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  The sparkle is Broze Glitz Glitter Glue.  I love it.

Amerian Celebration - July Stamp of the Month

I love when a new month starts and I can share with you the newest Stamp of the Month from Close To My Heart.  This stamp set is just in time for those 4th of July picnics.  This set and the Fanfare paper pack were MFEO (Made For Each Other). 

To create my flag in red, white & blue I stamped the flag image once in Cranberry ink, and I stamped the same flag image a second time in Pacifica ink.  Then I cut out the rectangle with the star from the blue image and placed it directly over the top of the red rectangle.  Ta-da!  I achieved that rustic look by stamping the Cranberry flag in 2nd Generation ink.  See my post below if you need a refresher on G2 stamping.
