My Superhero

Here's my little Superhero.  This was a couple of years ago when he was graduating from preschool.  Now he is just about to finish first grade.  Where does the time go?  I'm so glad Close To My Heart created this Superhero paper pack along with the coordinating Comic Badge Buttons.  They are SUPER for preserving memories of the man in your life, no matter what age he is.  I added the Baker's Twine from the neutral assortment and Dimensional Elements Starts & Alphabet.

This layout is for the other man in my life, my husband.  I just need to get the photos printed.  Hopefully that won't take me too long.  *sigh*  These pages were created using a pattern from the uber talented Tresa Black. I love the banner which was so easy to do with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge (also used for the journaling tag).

Have a memorable day,
Sheila

Footloose and Fancy Free

My family loves the beach and I love scrapbooking pictures of them at the beach.  These photos were taken a few years ago, and I'm relieved to finally have them on pages ready for the albums.
I used the Close To My Heart FOOTLOOSE workshop kit on page 43 of the Spring Summer Idea Book.  The stamp set that comes with the kit is so cute, as are the other stamp sets shown on pages 41 & 42 that complement this kit.  I added the Sorbet colored cardstock to kick it up a notch.  Now I have to go plan another trip to the beach.

May Stamp of the Month Friendship Bouquet

I'm a little late posting my artwork for this month's exclusive stamp set, Friendship Bouquet. I hope you like the sample below.  I stamped the large flower image on patterned paper from the Dotty For You paper collection, available from CTMH through the end of this month.  Why not treat yourself to both, while supplies last.

Stella Meets Dotty For You

I had a few bits and pieces of the Stella paper left over from that workshop last week so I challenged myself to create a layout using up the scraps and stretching the paper kit with the help of the fabulous Dotty For You paper collection. Click here to learn how to get yours.  With all the fun, bold colors in D4U, it is so easy to add a piece here and there where you need it.  On this layout the Sunset (orange) polka dots are from the D4U kit.  I used the Stella paper and my Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to make the flower and heart accents and also the title.  I hope you will add the Dotty For You paper to your stash to use along the way.

April Playgroup with Stella

I'd like to call this paper "stunning Stella" because it is just that.  I don't think I would have ever come up with this color combo, but I think it works together beautifully.  A big shout out to fellow CTMH consultant, Andrea Green, for sharing her beautiful artwork.  I tweaked it just a little.  All three of these layouts are from the Imagine how-to book, which incidentally is now a "while supplies last item." If you haven't purchased your copy, what are you waiting for?
