More Greetings Using CTMH Picture My Life Cards

I was crafting some thank-you cards for a gift and decided to pull out some Picture My Life (PML) cards. They make creating cards Faster.Simpler.Easier! The card decks are pre-printed and come in two sizes: 4x6 and 3x4 (inches). I made my card bases 3.5 x 5 so they could be mailed.

You can see all available Picture My Life collections from Close To My Heart on my website at ezscrapbooks.ctmh.com

CTMH January Special - Live Your Day

Have you tried pocket scrapbooking before? What's that, you say, pocket scrapbooking? Yup, using pre-printed 4" x 6" or 3" x 4" cards you can preserve your memories in just minutes. When you pair your photos, Close To My Heart's Picture My Life cards and a variety of pocket Memory Protectors, the sky is the limit. Don't worry, you can still get inky and sparkly with these PML cards. They work great with traditional scrapbooking and also card making.

Why am I telling you all this? January is National Papercrafting Month, and what better way to celebrate than with these versatile cards in an exclusive collection. The Live Your Day design is only available for the month of January. Did I mention that they coordinate with the sensational Everyday Life 2016 Planner and My Crush Everyday Life pages? The cards are only $8.95. You can purchase a set for your projects at ezscrapbooks.ctmh.com.

If you've landed here via our Blog Hop welcome from Tonya's site. I hope you are getting inspired.

I decided to use my Live Your Day cards to make a traditional scrapbook layout. You can see in the images below how easy it is to incorporate them into your project.

Can you find the PML cards on this layout?

I chose the cards I wanted to use with my 12 x 12 layout, then I cut the to fit my design.

I found it easiest to put adhesive on the back of my photo and then adhere the cut pieces of PML cards.

The photo with bits attached. Time to add it to the base page.

Now for a few more bits and bobs from the new Charlotte collection...

It's so easy to incorporate Picture My Life cards into paper crafting.

CTMH White Pines Picture My Life Cards

Picture My Life (PML) cards are not just for pocket scrapbooking...

The PML cards make documenting any event so quick and easy,

but they're not just for scrapbooking.

It's okay to chop 'em up - yep, I said chop 'em up - and apply them to

traditional scrapbook layouts or on greeting cards, as I've done here.

Each PML kit comes with 20 - 4" x 6" cards and 36 - 3" x 4" cards for only $8.95.

I added gold Shimmer Trim (Z1985) and matching bow from the
gold Fundamental Assortments (Z3105)

I added a splash of color by splattering some watercolor paint (Z3132)

I applied Fern Thick Twine (Z3093) with a couple of mini staples (Z2027)

Did you notice the scalloped shimmer trim on the "joy to the world" card? You can get that scallop punch at a 25% discount this week only!  You can also stock up on envelopes during the CYBER WEEK SALE. I'm adding those to my list!

Have a memorable day,

Sheila

More Picture My Life Artwork

I've been playing with Picture My Life cards again creating quick and easy greeting cards.  This is from the Avonlea collection.

Here's what I started with:

The stamp set shown is Sweet As Sugar (D1615). It is one of ten exclusive stamp sets that are available to order at a discount when you host a party with sales of $150.  [If you're like me, sometimes I am my own party because I have a big wish list.]

I trimmed a little off the sides of the cards and rounded the corners, then added a bit of Slate and Colonial White cardstock.  Can you see how the PML cards became the greeting card?

Tada!

There are 13 Picture My Life kits to chose from, and during the month of August CTMH is offering a special on pocket memory protectors.  Click here to see more information in a previous post.

Have a memorable day,
Sheila
